E&EM Pursues University Affiliate Program with Renewable Natural Resources Foundation (RNRF)

On February 11, 2000, GW's E&EM program was one of several university environmental and natural resources programs that met to help design RNRF’s new University Affiliate Program and to provide input to the RNRF’s year 2000 Congress on “The Evolving Role of Natural Resource Professionals.” The Renewable Natural Resources Foundation is a federation of 15 professional societies, such as the American Forestry Society, American Water Resources Association, the Wildlife Society and the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Bonilla Defends Doctoral Dissertation on Climate Change

Juan Pablo Bonilla successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on “Development of a Framework for Joint Implementation Measures in Developing Countries to Reduce Green House Gases in the Atmosphere” before a five-member examining committee and audience on March 14, 2000.
Monetta Addresses ASEM National Capital Section Luncheon at GW

Dr. Dominic J. Monetta, President of Resource Alternatives, Inc., was the guest speaker at the April 28, 2000, luncheon meeting of the American Society of Engineering Management (ASEM), held at GW’s new Faculty Club. Dr. Monetta’s firm specializes in energy utilization, environmental remediation, and critical issue analysis.
