Mukhtar K. Ibrahim is an Environmental Engineer with the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, where he is responsible for a variety of water resources projects, including the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers Water Quality Data Trends Analysis and the DC-WASA Long Term Combined Sewer Overflow Planning Project. Before joining COG, Mukhtar worked at Camp Dresser and McKee in Annandale, Virginia, where he worked on various projects including watershed delineation, flow analysis, data manipulation, and digitizing. Mukhtar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering degree from the University of the District of Columbia and completed his Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the George Washington University in January 2000.
