Norvic Chicchon-Ugarte (2006 M.S. in E&EM) recently gave a speech at the Peru’s Universidad Nacional del Centro in Huancayo (Central Andean region of Peru) on Andean regional opportunities involving an upcoming Promotion Trade Agreement between the United States and Peru. Norvic’s presentation, which was sponsored by the Fulbright Commission of Peru, was part of a conference on commercial collaborations between the United States and Peru.
Norvic also was chosen recently to participate in a full-time program for new executives in Peru in his role with employers, Grana & Montero Petroleum (GMP). GMP is a Peruvian oil and gas company with operations in exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons in Peru and Bolivia. GMP is part of the Grana y Montero Group (G&M), which is a well-known Peruvian corporation (http://www.granaymontero.com.pe).
