Dr. Ed Saltzberg, Managing Director, Security and Sustainability Forum (SSF), has come on board to EEMI as Director of Online Professional Education. This new EEMI program was created is a follow-up to EEMI’s highly successful face-to-face professional short course program (example at https://eemi.seas.gwu.edu/renewable-energy-market-trends-and-finance.)
Dr. Saltzberg presently is working to develop a series of short online courses focused on renewable energy technology, finance and strategy. These initial courses likely will be followed by additional courses on GHG management, climate change, electric vehicles and energy grid strategies.
Dr. Saltzberg also will continue as Managing Director of the Security and Sustainability Forum, an educational organization with 20,000 followers across the globe that convenes global experts in free webinars to address the impacts to society from climate change and other disruptions to natural systems. SSF’s archives contain over 125 webinar recordings covering urban resilience, food and water security, global climate security and many other critical topics.
