Dr. Na’ill Al-Momani released a new book in Environmental Crisis and Emergency Management in December 2006. Dr. Al-Momani, who graduated from GW with a Doctor of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management in 1999, is a member of the Natural Resources and Environment Faculty in the Department of Water Management and Environment, Hashemite University, Zarqa, Jordan. The new book, which is written in Arabic, cover, the full range of environmental crisis and emergency management planning: mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. The book is intended to provide guidance for decision makers and policy makers who review and to establish crisis and emergency management systems and plans.

In addition to his duties on the Natural Resources and Environment Faculty, Dr. Al-Momani serves as the President, Crisis and Emergency Management Committee at the Hashemite University.
