Catharine Cyr Ransom graduated from GW in 1996 with a Master of Engineering Management degree in Environmental and Energy Management Program. She presently is a Managing Director with the Glover Park Group in Washington, DC. Previosly Catharine was a Senior Climate and Environmental Advisor to Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) and a Senior Professional Staff Member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. Prior to joining the Senate, Catharine served as an Environmental Specialist in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, where, from 1995 to 1997, she shepherded the U.S. Navy's involvement in the Kyoto Protocol.
