James Lynch


James Lynch, a 2007 E&EM Master of Science graduate, joined the U.S. Department of Energy's Environmental Management Professional Development Corps August, 2008. Jim, who now is working in Richland, Washington for DOE, said that landing my first real job in the government is very exciting and I owe a lot to the great education I received at GW. Jim reports that he is doing nuclear clean-up, pollution prevention, and environmental security with the Office of River Protection, and will be undertaking rotational; assignments around the country for two years. After that, he will have the opportunity to go back to school or receive a non-competitive placement with one of the offices.
