Jos Ramn Gmez, who hails from Colombia, currently is a consultant at the World Bank, on the LCSEN - Environmentally & Socially Sustainable Development Latin America & Caribbean Region, in Washington, D.C. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering from The University of La Salle in Bogot, Colombia. He received his Master of Science degree from GW, Fall 2001, in Engineering Management with concentration in Environmental and Energy Management. He is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program, at the Civil and Environmental Department at GW. Currently, at the World Bank, he is working on projects such as the implementation of the Montreal Protocol in Chile and Argentina, a sustainable transport and clean air project for Santiago in Chile, and the Second Communication for Climate Change in Argentina.
