Hans Van Winkle

Hans Van Winkle formerly served as the Deputy Commanding General of the US Army
Corps of Engineers, where he served at the rank of Major General. Hans got his
Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1973.
Subsequently, he received his Master of Public Policy degree from the University of
California at Berkeley. He presently is pursuing his PhD degree and Environmental and
Energy Management at GW.
