GW-E&EM/GETF partnership possibilities discussed at the meeting included those involving the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Agency for International Development, World Bank, and Global Initiatives, Inc.  Project areas include sustainable urban management, emergency response and preparedness, commercial applications of remote technologies in the renewable natural resources area, and international environmental protection.  The March 12 meeting, which was the second in a series of GW-E&EM/GETF discussions, began a process of convergence on several joint collaborations between the two organizations.
