Each course will be delivered over a four-week period. Additional environmental and energy short courses will be brought online based on the demand and success of the initial offering. Modules for the first course have been recorded using the capabilities of GW’s Instructional Technology Lab, which offers state-of-the-art expertise and capabilities to GW faculty members. Several additional courses may be launched later in the year, including Renewable Energy Trends and Financing, Corporate Energy Strategies, and Environmental Life Cycle Analysis. These short courses are being designed for working professionals to undertake on a self-paced basis over four weeks, using 12 hours of recorded content plus four hours of live online instructor contact.

Renewable Energy Finance Online Course: Group Discussion |
Dr. Edward Saltzberg, EEMI’s Director of Professional Development and a GW Visiting Scholar, is leading the design and management of the online program. He also is the managing director of the Security and Sustainability Forum, which produces online educational webinars for a subscriber base of 20,000 sustainability professionals from across the globe. The SSF subscriber list will be the core marketing source for the program.
