E&EM lead professor Jonathan Deason served as the organizer and chair of the Environmental Regulation and Compliance Track at the Intertraffic North America 2005 Conference that was held in Baltimore , Maryland on September 27-29, 2005.
The track consisted of 12 sessions covering a wide spectrum of topics. A total of 32 environmental leaders from the federal, state and local levels of government and the private sector served as speakers at the event.
The Intertraffic North America (INA) conference was the first occurrence of the traffic infrastructure management conference and exhibition in North America. Over the past decade, similar events have been held in Europe and Asia, and event organizers indicated plans to continue the event in North America on an every-two-year basis.
