Recent Environmental and Energy Management graduate Brian Krausz recently joined the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (OECA) in the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance. Brian, who graduated in 2009 with his Master of Science degree, conducted his Master’s thesis research on “Support for Solar Power and Renewable Electricity Generation at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.”
Brian started with EPA in June 2008 during his EEM graduate studies, He initially served as an intern in the Student Career Experience Program at EPA, where he worked for a more than a year before being converted to a regular, full-time EPA employee. Brian is working in the Water Division within OECA, where he will be working on NPDES Stormwater permitting. To date Brian has been heavily engaged in training to prepare him for his new duties in the enforcement program.
