Deason Receives RNRF Award

E&EM Lead Professor Jonathan P. Deason received an award from the Renewable Natural Resources Foundation (RNRF) on December 6, 1999 in recognition of his service to the organization.  Deason served on the RNRF Board of Directors for four years (1996-1999) and on the Foundation's Executive Committee for three years.  He also served on a number of other RNRF committees.  In addition, Deason was instrumental in coordinating the highly successful RNRF Congress on “Human Population Growth”  that was conducted at the GW Marvin Center in October 1997.

The RNRF is an organization composed of 14 professional societies dedicated to the proper management of our nation's renewable natural resources.

Its member societies include the American Water Resources Association, the American Fisheries Society, the American Geophysical Union, and other leading natural resources organizations. 

 


It owns and operates a 35-acre office park in Bethesda, Maryland that houses the headquarters offices of many of its member societies.
